She told me she has purchased it for $60 and though I really wanted one for my place I thought that was a bit steep so I decided to try to find one online.
Well I'm happy to say that after months of searching and comparing I finally found one cheaper!
I got mine from AgeComfort.com for $35.00 CDN and it was the cheapest I could find online or in stores.
I ordered mine and while on the site I saw a few things my parents could use so I added them to my cart and noticed they were located in Ontario so they arrived within a few days... talk about speedy shipping!
While I initially wanted it for a soap dispenser after thinking about it I realized that it would be better use to me as a lotion dispenser. The product description states that it can be used for soap, lotion, Hand sanitizer (great for office spaces or a home with kids IMO) & detergents and can hold up to 550ml.
Last night I got around to testing it and here's how it went.
I opened the shipping box which revealed the product box.
I decided to fill it with my Life brand aloe after sun moisturizer because it was the only somewhat full lotion I had around plus I wanted to test it with something cheaper just in case.
I read the directions, inserted the battery's (4 AA not included), opened up the top lid and poured my lotion in.
Replaced the lid, turned the power on, adjusted the drop size up and VOILA!
Wave your hand under the spout area and the perfect amount of lotion is dispensed each time!
Here is the dispenser next to my Bath & Body Works hand soap just to show you the size comparison.
What I liked:
- The cost!
- The fact that it was SO easy to set up and use
- That you can control the amount of lotion/soap dispensed
- The shipping speed
- The companies fast and friendly customer service (I emailed to ask them a question about another product)
What I disliked:
- That you need a screwdriver to open the battery compartment at the bottom
Conclusion:
This product was exactly what I had been looking for and although their website is geared mostly to the older generation they had the best prices on this and other items I ordered for my parents.
I got it at a great price and the fact that it works so well really will make moisturizing on those lazy days just that much easier!
I didn't love that I needed a screw driver to open the battery compartment however luckily I did have one around and at the end of the day it really wouldn't stop me at all from using this product.
If you hate when you apply lotion, soap or sanitizer and have to touch the bottle again and make it all slimy this is the product for you! This would also make an amazing gift for the holidays so head over to AgeComfort.com and check it out.
They have a discount going on right now too which gives you an extra 10% off for Black Friday!
Coupon Code: "blackfriday09". Use it before 11/29 (Sun)

Sweet deal! It really jazzes up any bathroom counter =)
OH you are seriously the BEST! I had to order THREE when I saw your post :)
Hope you don't mind, but I blogged this deal as well!
I love that it doesn't look cheap~
though the whole unscrewing thing can be a PITA.
Gonna check out the site :P
This is a good product for children who love to play with soap dispensers a little too much and get soap all over the bathroom counter. I think I just got an idea... xxN
Ohhh how convenient! I'm curious to know how it performs when the lotion is almost at the end...that's one of my biggest pet peeves - when the lotion is almost finished but wont pump out. Let me know!
omg this is sucha kewl idea! I need to get one 2 =)
