The Body Shop is about to launch its first 100% Natural Lip Roll-On Woohoo!!

I can not tell you how excited this makes me for the simple fact that I'm a HUGE fan of  roll-on lip oils. I have always been loyal to NYC's Watermelon roll-on lip oil but I was left stuck and sad when they recently discontinued it :( I thought I would never find anything like it again. That was until now!!

Available in five different flavours, The Body Shop introduces its first 100% Natural Lip Roll-On that will help moisturize your lips with natural ingredients sourced from around the world.

I'm not a fan of most lip glosses because of the sticky factor which is why I've always preferred oils for day to day use. These roll-on's are perfect because they are high shine without that goopy feeling. They taste and smell great and the fact that they are 100% natural makes me feel so much better about the fact that I apply these maybe 20 times a day!!

My favourite, Romantic Rose!! I have always been obsessed with rose essence and this lip roll-on gives me my "fix" without being too much.

Products Im loving at the moment!

I'm a creature of habit and routine but when it comes to beauty, skin care and makeup I try to switch it up every once in a while. Here are some of the products I'm digging these days.

Vasanti Cosmetics Eye Wonder Eye Cream

I use this every single morning and every single night not just around my eyes but all over my entire face! The jar is huge and we don't just have fine lines around our eyes right? Its rich enough to keep my dry skin moist in the winter but not too rich that I feel greasy. Its helped the darkness around my eyes when nothing else Ive tried could so that's why I tell everyone about this product!!

Cargo Cosmetics "Bronze" Essential Palette

I really like this palette because I love neutral shadows that can go from day to night. This palette is compact and when I travel it comes with me so I don't have to lug 4 separate shadows. I use the top "highlight" color all over my eye from lid to brow almost daily. I mean just because it recommends using it as a highlight it doesn't mean its not a pretty all over color right?

The Body Shop's Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash

This cleanser works by giving you a deep cleanse and by minimizing pores with a mild, oil-free, foaming gel cleanser that won’t over dry your skin. The soap-free formula is less drying to the skin than soap too!

I picked up this cleanser a little while ago when I used my Body Shop Groupon and I haven't looked back! I like a cleaner that removes my makeup and cleanses in one go and this product does just that. It leaves my face feeling fresh and it doesn't dry me out like some of the others Ive tried Bonus!

First up the "Midnight" Eye Palette which is perfect for the party look this season with four pearlescent eyeshadows and a shimmery cream highlighter. This palette measures approx 5" by 3.75" and contains a good sized mirror and double ended sponge applicator for on the go glam!

The colors all have a nice holiday shimmer to them and are 4 of the hottest and more wearable shades of the season. This palette can easily take you from day to night and is compact enough that it will it in most handbags. The magnetic closer makes sure everything stays where it should be and it comes with a protective plastic piece over the shadows which I have kept because it helps to keep the mirror nice and clean!

The collection also includes 2 nail polishes (Twinkle Pink & Starry Night) that have the most beautiful shimmer to them. I have been sporting Twinkle Pink and love the shimmer thats a must for this time of year! Its shimmery enough to give it a really nice effect yet subtle enough to wear to the office without drawing attending to your hands.

The New Star Dust's are so festive and would be perfect to finish off any New Years outfit you have planned! Olive Body Butter

An intensive, creamy all-over body moisturizer. It absorbs into the skin easily, helping to condition, soften and smooth the skin and prevent dryness.

My best friend recommended this body butter to me, she swears by it and now I do too! Since Ive been using it after my showers my skin has been dare I say it baby bottom soft :) It melts into my skin and doesn't leave any greasy residue which I love.

What I Liked:

• Non greasy
• Big size container
• A little goes a long way
• Light fragrance if any
• Absorbs fast
• Leaves my skin softer than any other lotion Ive tried

What I Disliked:

• Sometimes it gets under my fingernails when I scoop it out!
• A little too big for travel however they do have a mini version available in a trio set right now

Who to gift it to:

• Everyone in your life. 

 This body butter is unisex and I actually know a lot of guys that use it so this would make a great stocking stuffer or small gift for anyone on your list :)

The Body Shop's New LOVE ETC.. ™ Eau de Parfum

Its time to review more loot from the Toronto Beauty Blogger Meetup event!

I have been using this perfume since the day after the event, it was one of the first things I wanted to try out since I love fragrances but tend to stick to the same ones over and over. The first thing I noticed about this product was the feminine, colorful package and the name of the fragrance LOVE ETC.. ™ loves it!

Described on TheBodyShop.ca as 'A sensuous blend of Egyptian jasmine with warm, radiant notes of vanilla and sandalwood' its got a very unique yet sensual scent that I quite enjoy. I'm normally a girl that goes for sweet candy smelling perfumes such as Aqualina's Pink Sugar but like to switch it up every now and then, this was perfect scent to switch to.

Especially created by The Body Shop with one of the world's finest "noses", Dominique Ropion, even the name chosen signifies love in all its forms. You don't have to change the world wearing this fragrance, but you will love that this is the first Eau de Parfum to feature an alcohol perfume base created from an ingredient which is fairly-traded and organic.

Overall I really like this perfume and its adorable little bottle that I can throw in my purse or take on vacation. The 30ml bottle (pictured below) retails for approx $24.00 and the 50ml is $29.50, which in my opinion are very reasonable prices. It also comes in a milder Eau De Toilette form that retails for $25.00 for the 50ml bottle. The fragrance when applied to my pressure points I found lasted about 6-8 hours, left me smelling like a flower in bloom and worked well with my body chemistry so for this reason I'm giving this Eau de Parfum 2 thumbs up!

My Favorite Scents from The Body Shop

For as long as I can remember The Body Shops eau de toilets and perfume oils have been a part of my scent collection. I can remember back to grade 7 where I wore White Musk to school one day and a boy told me I smelled "grand" lol... believe it or not it was my first compliment from a boy and its probably something I will never forget. White Musk will forever remind me of that day and time in my life.

As I got older and started making my own money I began to try out different scents from The Body Shop but always went back to White Musk or variations of it anyway until probably the last 4-5 years. I discovered Neroli Jasmin one day as I browsed the store and I fell in love!

I purchased it and then went on to insist my girls try it out too. They did and almost all of then have owned this wonderful scent at some point in the last few years. During the recent 3 for $30 sale I took advantage and purchased Vanilla (which gets a lot of compliments from the men for some reason) and restocked Neroli Jasmin and a big 60ml bottle of White Musk. Turned out to be a fabulous deal since normally they are approx $17 each for the 30ml bottles and $26 for the 60ml.

Ive realized over the last few years that my scents of choice are generally sweet smelling. I love Pink Sugar by Aqualina and even this $4.95 cotton candy body spray for tweens that I wear from Wal-mart which btw is quickly becoming my signature scent and for $5 why not!!
Realizing I liked sweet scents last year I also purchased the Strawberry oil perfume from The Body Shop as well and LOVE it! In fact its what I'm wearing today ;)

All in all I think The Body Shops scents are not only reasonably priced but really fragrant and can quickly become a signature scent for any woman.
