I know I'm a creature of habit in almost every aspect of my life which includes my daily beauty routine. I tend to wear concealer, powder, one of 2 blushes, a neutral slightly shimmery eyeshadow, one of 3 shades of eye liners (brown, navy & black), mascara and clear gloss for shine. This is mostly because thinking that early in the morning about being creative with makeup just seems like a lot of work lol.
Today after my normal everyday routine I looked in the mirror and told my reflection I was BORING! So tomorrow I have vowed to choose a color shadow maybe even 2 and play with a lip color!
My question to you is do you have a daily routine? or do you like to play with colors and styles?

I have recently started using ELF's makeup holder which holds brushes and makeup so I have switched it up this week. I am going to make a conscious effort to change the contents of the holder every week so I'm not wearing the same things, day in day out.
Yes yes yes I too am a creature of habit. I wear foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick everyday. I tend to fluctuate between my neutrals: I have a set of chocolate browns, golds and then I have purples and greys. Occasionally I will get funky with different eyeliners but I am still working on technique.
I am starting to get back into lipsticks but haven't jumped on the bright color bandwagon (yet). I read anjali's posts about the daring lipcolor and I may be sold-I will wait for your post!
I don't think you could make any kind of beauty faux pas honestly-you have wonderful creative vision when it comes to the face!

Love it! I give myself 15mins to get my game face on. (Longer if I'm heading off to do a makeup event). Routine:Primer, concealer,eye primer, Translucent Powder. Then I choose between my 5-color Dior shadow palette/Laura Mercier's eyeshadow sampler palette (Holiday 2010)/2 Nars Duos for my eyes...Matte raspberry blush/Orgasm/South Beach Multiple...then mascara, brows and lips are in my mini makeup pouch in my purse:)
I tend to wear the same makeup daily (just changing up the blush) but on Special Occasions I change it up:-)
@Rhamnousia - hmm that could be a good solution put out a diff set of colors each week let me know how that goes!

@merry- Sounds like your "routine" is already playful with so many choices lol
@BeautyParler - I change it up for special occasions or for evening events sometimes but yeah im pretty plain jane otherwise.
