The Giorgio Armani Privé Spring/Summer 2012 runway show that took place this past January in Paris reminds us that this spring/summer season is all about beautiful skin and soft pretty shades.
Face:
The models were prepped with Armani's Regenessence High Lift cream followed by their Fluid Master Primer which is an invisible, transparent skin canvas that smoothes and unifies the skin. Next, makeup artist Linda Cantello uses a new (not in stores till October) product called Maestro, the first thin film color concentrate, ten times thinner than foundation to keep the skin looking flawless, fresh & matte.
Eyes:
To mirror the collection on the runway, she applies a blend of the light green Eyeshadow from the Spring 2012 make up palette #1 then the Gloss d’Armani #100 is applied on the eyes for a shiny veil of colour. To finish off the eyes, the Eyes To Kill Lash Stretching mascara is added just on the upper lashes.
Lips:
The lips are kept soft and fresh and are enhanced with a blend of 2 Gloss d’Armani shades, beige #105 and light pink #508, then dusted with a gold from the Spring 2012 make up palette #1 for a pretty reflection of light.
So there you have it ladies, Armani shows that by keeping it fresh, soft & pretty you will be right on track for the upcoming season ;)
