As soon as these babies arrived I dipped my finger in and applied it to hand, my mouth dropped and I was going around showing anyone I could at how stunning these colors were. The shimmer powders ($19ea) have the most wonderful finish to them and they blend with such ease. The color pay off was amazing too, one light touch with the tip of my ring finger could cover an entire lid with a wash of color.
The shadow I chose is called Sapphire ($17ea) a brilliant shimmery navy color. It blends like a dream and is so versatile, Ive been using it as both a shadow and liner!
Everyone was so impressed that I have already been asked to order these for my girlfriends! Now that says a lot no?
Close up so you can see the flecks of shimmer.
The Face Atelier eyeshadow refills are the same size as the Mac ones so they fit into my palette without any issues. The picture does NOT do them justice they are even more brilliant in real life but you can see the amazing sheen they give off here.
Snake Eyes is a duotone that goes from brown and green which I thought was really cool because you can play this up in so many ways. My fav though is probably the White Gold which is comparable to Mac's Vanilla pigment and is amazing for highlighting and the Aubergine which is the most amazing cranberry color.
So once again Face Atelier has left me wanting more! Next on my list... iced amethyst, iced champagne & golden pearl shadows!
Remember Face Atelier's website offers samples at a $1 each of their shimmer powders so you're able to try before you buy and trust me you will want to buy!
