I have to admit that I was totally smitten with this collection from the moment I saw it because I love anything with the Tartan print and in turn was lured into this collection. When I got the chance to test out some of the items from the line I was excited because not only is some of the packaging pretty ALL of the items in the collection are too!

The Family Crest Pigment (blackened bronze with pearl)

What I liked:

• A nice alternative to a black smokey eye
• Love the flecks of gold
• Can be applied dry so a subtle look or wet for a bolder look
• Size of jar should last you a long time
• A little goes a long way
• Blend easily

What I disliked:

• Creates a lot of fall out like most pigments

Petrol Blue Pearlglide Eyeliner (deep navy with pearl)

What I Liked:

• Glides on with ease
• Creamy
• Once set doesn't smudge easily
• Stunning shade of blue with a hint of sparkle
• Not a lot of pressure needed to apply so no tugging of the eye is required

What I disliked:

• Because the tip is so soft and creamy it doesn't stay super pointy for long

• Ladies who like to experiment with makeup

While my photography skills need work these products do not! Both of these have a subtle yet beautiful shimmer and would work really well for any holiday or new years look you have planned!
