Of Course it is!
So of course I went home that night and slathered my hair in conditioner (I didn't have any oils) and sat patiently for 45 minutes before I washed it out and shampooed as I normally would. Once my hair was dry I could feel a difference, it was softer.... much softer and I was hooked.
I can proudly say that I am now officially a Pre-Pooer!
My next step is to find natural oils such as lavender oil, almond oil, coconuts oil, olive oil and even honey to add into my pre-poo regime and I'm all set!
There are many Pre-Poo videos on YouTube that explain the many ways to do it and how it works.
Have you ever Pre-Poo'd?
Do you have any pre-poo recipes to share?

I have heard about this before but I'm afraid it weill only make my hair greasier... But I'll give it a try anyway!
I love this. I dont like to use conditioner after at all. I love oiling my hair with simple coconut oil an hour before washing it.
oh, so that's the term- pre poo~ ^_^ i've tried it too and i love the result :) i must try using oils instead of conditioner because it weighs my hair down.thanks for sharing!
I recently got a V05 hair treatment that after I read it said it was for pre conditioning. It is similar to the old fashioned hot oil idea before washing your hair.
I haven't used it yet since I don't shampoo at all any more I just use conditioner in my hair...I'm a No Poo gal.
I will giggle every time I read/hear the words pre-poo. I might have to try this though!
Its totally a funny term and makes me giggle too!
I just realized I could add my Moroccan oil into the mix!!
Pre-pooped? Lol anywaaay I think i'm gonna try this method!
my mother-in-law actually suggested this idea to me! Apparently it's popular in India and Pakistan. You should try Vatika oils, they have these really good herbal blends that smell very nice too!
