Its January, snowing outside and your newborn has got a doctors appointment. Being a new mom I really wanted to get Sienna checked out and was looking forward to this appointment so nothing was going to stop me..... I cleared all the snow, loaded up the car with her diaper bag and blankets and settled baby girl in the back. Walked around to the front to start the car and it was DEAD! What?! I think I yelled "Nooooo" and flopped down on the steering wheel in defeat. The battery was dead, hubby was at work and of course we had no jumper cables so asking for help seemed pointless. In we went and that was that.
Fast forward to May, the snow had cleared and I had have set up a mommy play date at a local mall. Pack up the car and headed out on the back roads thinking it would be safer when out of the blue I hit a massive hole... like half the size of my car sized hole and just like that my front tire was blown, I panicked and the only things that run through my mind were "oh lord please keep her asleep" and "oh lord please don't let there be any damage to the car". CAA says there is a bit of a wait and its starting now to get dark.... ugh so not fun with a baby in the car.
BOTH moments when I wished I had some of the items in Michelin's amazing safety kit!
This kit is now a staple in my car! It includes gloves, a flashlight, jumper cables, candles, first aid items and other safety items that really are a must and keep me feeling safe with my baby girl on board :)
Thanks Michelin for giving this mama some peace of mind.
