Lisa's Cosmetics Warehouse Sale Haul

This past Monday I headed out to the Lisa's Cosmetics Warehouse Sale in Markham thinking it wouldn't be so busy because it was a Monday morning.... boy, was I SO wrong!

As I approached the building I could already see the swarm of cars and as I got close the "LOT FULL" sign made me actually say "whomp whomp" out loud in disappointment. So off I went to the over flow parking lot down the street in disbelief.

Once I got to the entrance there was no line thank god so I waltzed right in, grabbed my big mesh shopping bag and wandered the aisles. I went over the the nail/body care section first where they had everything from cuticle scissors ($1.99) to all types of polishes ($2.49 for the most part). I picked up one of each scissors for my kit (to cut lashes) and Revlon Nail Art "Break Up" polish in Killer (orange) and Instincts (Bronze) for myself. I also grabbed a St.Ives 750ml body wash ($3.99) and a Sally Hansen spray on hair remover and pedicure in a minute combo because it was only $1.99!

I found my way to the makeup section where all Annabelle cosmetics were only $1.99 and Marcelle products were seriously marked down. I didn't find anything I needed so I moved on to the Smashbox section where I was on the hunt for their primer. I was told I was too late they had them but they sold out...boo.

Next I went to the massive perfume section and picked up my absolute favourite scent Pink Sugar by Aqualina 100ml for $35 and Caroline Herrera's 212 for men for the hubs at $55 for the 100ml. I also picked up a few essentials for him, 2 pairs of MEXX dress socks ($2.99ea), 2 leather belts (2 or $10), 6 pack of Schick razors ($4.99).

Also Since mother's day is this coming weekend I also picked up a few items I thought our mothers would love which has to remain hush hush because they could read this :) (HI moms!).

All said I done I spent just over $200 but it was well worth it because retail all these items probably would have cost closer to $500!

The sale happens twice a year and usually last for 2-3 weekends at a time. If you missed it this weekend you still have next weekend but if you miss that you will have to wait until November I believe for it to come back.
