My name is Farah and I have sleep issues :(
I have serious sleep issues that combined with the fact that Scott elbow's me on a weekly basis in his sleep has lead me to believe I need to start the search for the perfect KING sized mattress pronto!
Here's where I need help...
Are you happy with your mattress? Would you (can you please) recommend it?
Where should I start my search?
Our first thoughts are to run to Sleep Country as I have a few family members who are really happy with their purchases from them but we are open to other suggestions.
Help!
Signed,
Desperately seeking sleep.

LOL this made me laugh :) if your budget doesn't mind, try the nasa bed!
@Donna - Nasa hmm thanks for the rec ill look into it. We always have a budget in mind but I think a good mattress is very important and so worth the extra $
I bought mine from sleep country. They are really good. A friend of mine bought the sleep number bed and she loves it. Good luck!
We bought our kids' mattresses from the Bay - they have the top brands (Sealy, Stern & Foster etc) on sale several times a year - and if you open up an HBC credit card, you get even more off.
I would definitely go for the best mattress you can get - we spend so much of our life sleeping LOL - and a good mattress can help avoid sore necks and bad backs. I'd go to several stores and lie down and try different options to see what you like. I don't like temper-pedic mattress as I don't want them to mold around me - I prefer firm mattresses - I especially like pillow-top mattresses, which are quite firm but with a soft covering.
Buy the best you can afford..it's so worth it. Memory Foam mattresses tend to be a bit hot, I prefer pillow-top. Go and test them out b/c you can't really tell until you try. Oh and budget in good sheets & pillows..that is all a critical part of it. Good luck!
