While it does look better when done on dry hair it does work on wet as you can see in my pic above. Its amazing how many comments and compliments I get on this style. People always ask me how long it took me - my response "2 minutes". This usually raises an eyebrow and is followed by "can you teach me how to do it too".
Ive searched all over the net for a good video that shows you how to do this and this is the best one I have found.
As you see in the video its a fabulous style for those with bangs who want the option to wear them up.
Have you tried this look?
What do you think?

oooh I like but can't do it even with the self help tuts!
Your hair looks amazing in the pic - am off to watch the video - I need to learn how to do this :-)
seems so pretty but i'm so bad at braiding on myself T^T
LOVE!! Gonna try this tomorrow!!
That looks so pretty. I've done the twist playing with my hair but could never get it to secure..I'm going to try and bobbi pin trick. Thanks!
This is my go to hairstyle as well. I wear it like this pretty much every day. My sister keeps telling me I need to switch it up a bit. Great video in terms of explaining how to do it.

You have to have the right cut to pull it off, if my hair is too layered I have peices that stick out :(
But I love it because it adds a little drama to your do and it keeps the hair out of your face in the summer months.
Beautiful hair!

Thanks ladies once you have mastered this technique it will be your go to style too!!! It took me 1 or 2 tries to get it the way I wanted it, Ive done this with a low bun in the back as well as rope braids on either side that flow all the way into pigtails. I love it!
